After nearly 4 years of development, Jailbird Nocturne is finally out!
I really don't know what else to say after spending so much of my life on this one game! It's a turn-based RPG featuring a character-focused story in a surreal contemporary fantasy setting. You're abducted into another dimension, and you have to break out of prison and avert a demonic apocalypse. Here's the feature list from the itch page, I guess:
- 10+ hours of adventure!
- Lovable cast of characters!
- Fully original art, sound, and music!
- Challenging but fair turn-based combat!
- Bonk enemies with a bass guitar like you're in FLCL or whatever!
It's the sequel to Danger Zone Friends, so if you liked that game, familiar faces and places from the original return, and the combat and exploration mechanics have been built upon and polished.
